I have always loved interacting with children.  As a teacher in the community, I love building relationships with all students and cheering them on inside and outside of the classroom.  I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in Leisure, Youth and Human Services prior to earning a degree in Elementary Education from Upper Iowa.  Before coming to Hudson, I taught for 9 years in Cedar Falls and subbed in many Hudson Elementary classrooms while taking care of my family.  Outside of the teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, and being outside.
