Family: I have two daughters named Anna and Maggie. Anna is currently eleven years old and is currently in 6th grade. Maggie, our youngest daughter, is nine years old. My wife, Toni, teaches 4th grade within the Hudson school district.

Hobbies: I really enjoy being with my family and try to take advantage of every opportunity in finding time to enjoy together. My personal hobbies include fishing, bike riding, exercising, as well as, working with family photos and video.

Schooling: I graduated from Buena Vista University in 1998. I had the opportunity to participate in wrestling and baseball during my collegiate tenure at Buena Vista. All of the observation and interaction with the university helped me to believe that pursuing an occupation in education was going to be my chosen path.

Professional Involvement: I am currently serving as Student Council supervisor for grades seven through eight. I am also the varsity head wrestling coach and middle school baseball coach.

Years in Education: I am completing my sixteenth year as an educator. I have had the opportunity to have taught sixth through twelfth grade throughout my career. In addition, I have taught American History, World History, Psychology, and Geography.
