I am originally from Rockford, Iowa & graduated from NIACC in Mason City and transferred to UNI earning my B.A. in History Education with an endorsement in all social studies subjects. When I was in college I did one of my teaching practicums here at Hudson & said to myself then, “Oh, how I wish to teach in a school like this!” Lo and behold that spring there was an opening & I feel very blessed that this is my 11th year teaching at Hudson. Besides being in the classroom I have been the student council advisor and the softball coach. I really love teaching history and the challenge of making events & issues applicable to students. I love the community that I live in & the opportunity of having my children grow in a great small town.  Go Hud!!
