Board Members:
School is now dismissed for the summer! We just finished up our last activity with employees and they are now checking out. I suspect most will be gone by 3pm. today and looking forward to a long holiday weekend. Our contractors wasted little time in moving right into the high school. By the time I got to the high school at 7:30, they had already started demolition of the commons and removing ceiling tiles in the hallways. Most of the outdoor work is on pause since we are experiencing rain today.
I'm uncertain you are aware, but Ann is currently in the hospital. On Monday evening she had a low grade fever, and according to the cancer center, if that happens she needs to go to the emergency room. The ultimately admitted her with neutropenia and she has been receiving IV antibiotics on a 12 hour cycle. The fever has subsided and she really feels fine, they just won't let her come home until her white blood cell count is back in the safe zone. It started to rise yesterday, so I anticipate she'll be able to come home either today or tomorrow.
So, then I am going to be headed out here in a few minutes. Have a great weekend and I'll see you soon!
