Friday Board Bulletin 1/4/19

Happy New Year! Two days of school seemed to be just the right amount to get the students back into the swing of things and the start of a new semester. The holiday break always seems to come at just the right time and provides the much needed antidote and energy boost for the second leg of the year. We are now entering a long stretch of school with no breaks in sight until spring. This stretch is when we traditionally begin to see huge gains in achievement with our students, so that is the good news in this long stretch!

Aside from the new start, it has been a relatively uneventful week. There are no home activities tonight, so that pretty much wraps things up. Next week will be a whole new story, with a jam packed calendar for me. I'll look forward to sharing that with you next Friday!
