Friday Board Bulletin 5/3/2019

Board Members:

Today is shaping up to be a stellar day! The sun is shining and I had a very pleasant walk to work this morning. It was just crisp enough that a light jacket was enough. For certain one of the warmer days we have had in the last couple of weeks!

Now that the legislative session is over, we are still waiting on the governor's signature on several pieces of legislation. Our week here was relatively quiet; excavation resumed this week. The cold and wet weather we have been experiencing has not been real helpful! On Wednesday I attended the final AEA superintendent meeting of the year. Now that it's May we are in a rush to the end. The pace of activities is really starting to increase with golf, track, and soccer. Tuesday evening was the 'Parade of Bands' concert, which unfortunately I was unable to attend to this year due to being out of town.

May Day

The photo I am sharing this week is from May Day. I was thrilled to receive a May Day basket from Mrs. Miler's 4th grade class and some poetry from these youngsters. Have a great weekend!
