Friday Board Bulletin 9/4/2020

Board Members:

Today marks the end of two weeks of school. So far it has gone well and we have been able to do a decent job of keeping things going.

Our biggest news of the week obviously was the shutdown of our kitchen on Tuesday due to a possible COVID exposure (we're still waiting on test results). I have since spoken with OPAA! headquarters and told them that I had classified this as a failure in their service. They have since taken steps to ensure another scenario like this doesn't repeat. Nevertheless, we were able to turn this problem into a decent PR coup for the school and public schools in general working together. If you didn't get a chance to read the article in the Courier, you can find it here

The memo regarding our current status that was sent out to families can also be found here, and I also continue to make improvements to our dashboard, which can be found right here. I hope you all have a great Labor Day and are able to enjoy the holiday weekend.
