Friday Board Bulletin 5/28/2021

Board Members:

We did it! The 2020-2021 school year is in the books and we made it all year long without needing to implement any of our alternative learning models. Congratulations to all of you for making the tough decisions!

With this week marking the final week of instruction, a lot of time has been spent on some of the more ceremonial aspects of the school year and celebration. It has been exciting to see our school year wrap up in a more traditional way, as opposed to the drive-through anti-climatic way our year ended last year.

Our summer sports seasons got off with a bang on Wednesday night, when we hosted a girls regional final soccer match, baseball game, and softball game. It is a rare occasion when we have that much action in one night, but it was a ton of fun!

The picture I am sharing today is from our preschool graduation on Tuesday morning. We had a few youngsters that weren't all that excited to be participating in this event, which made the event exciting! Have a great weekend. I'll be off next week so there won't be a bulletin.

There won't be a COVID update this week since it is largely moot at this point. However, in the next couple of weeks I'll do a blog post that gives an analysis of our experience throughout the school year. Just a reminder that lunch is at 11:00 and I hope you can make it. Otherwise, have a great Memorial Day weekend and I'll see you soon. Next week I'm off for a quick vacation so there won't be a Friday bulletin.
