Friday Board Bulletin 7/13/18

Board Members:

I hope this Friday morning finds you all well and in a place in comfort! It is hot! Unfortunately the air conditioning isn't fixed here yet, so our board meeting on Monday will again be held in the high school library. We are very optimistic that by the end of next week we will be back in business!

We continue to make good progress on phase 2 of the elementary renovation project and anticipate final inspections will be occurring in the next couple of weeks. It is fully our intention to begin turning rooms back over to the custodial staff very soon. 

Yesterday morning was spent in meetings with our architect and the 'preliminary user group' for phase 3. Our designers got some excellent feedback from staff and are hard at work preparing floor plans for the next phase of work. 

Last night the baseball team defeated North Tama 1-0 to advance to the district final. That game will be held tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. in Alburnett.
