Congratulations to the wrestling team who finished runner-up this past Saturday out of 13 teams at the North Tama invitational. Also congratulations to Jaedyn HEasley as he pinned his way to the title at 190.
Congratulations to the large group speech team! They competed this weekend and 5 events will be moving on to state speech on February 3 in Dubuque. Congrats to the two improv groups, 1 short film group, readers theater and musical theater.
The sign up for Young Women in Leadership is open. The conference is March 6th and costs $15. This includes a t-shirt and lunch. If you are interested, bring your $15 to Erin in the office. The sign up closes tomorrow.
There will be an informational meeting for students interested in playing baseball on Tuesday, January 23rd during first seminar.
Gold Star award nominations can be turned in at Erin’s window. We have extra nomination forms, just let us know if you need one.
Please be mindful of where you are parking as tickets are being issued. Students can park on Wood Street, except for bus driver parking – signs are posted. Students can also park in the middle school lot and on the streets north of School Street. Tickets will be issued if you are parking on School Street or behind the elementary building. This includes morning and afternoon practice times as well.
With the progress of our construction, the back HS parking lot will not be available until further notice. Again, please make sure that you are parking in appropriate areas. The JH lot is available and we would encourage you to utilize that lot. If you have any questions about where you can park, please stop up in the office.
