Board Members:

Thank you so much for your hard work this week! I don't recall the last time we had a 5 hour board meeting! I apologize for the length of the meeting. Fortunately those are far and few between. Hopefully the fact I can't remember the last time is solace to the rarity. In any event, you did great work all the way around that evening and I appreciate your thoughtful deliberations. 

Since we met on Wednesday, the girls cross country team qualified for state. In fact, Desi Lang won the race outright and we had 5 girls in the top 11. That is a dominant showing! Speaking of which, while we were in our board meeting, the volleyball team came out on top to advance to the next round of play, and will do so on Monday. The boys are in playoff action tonight and tomorrow our music students will be auditioning for All-State. This is always an exciting time of the year!

I sent you an invite for our next planning meeting with the architects, which is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on November 1. This is by no means a required meeting, but if you are planning on attending, please let me know ASAP. If we have 3 or more members in attendance, I'll need to post this as a public meeting. Amy, I do have you listed as attending. Our main objective right now is to finalize the site plan. That work is included as exhibit 6.2d in your October board packet and the most current rendering can be found on page 1. If you review my annotations included in the packet, you'll have a good idea of the discussion to date. Please reach out if you would like to discuss more and run through the options, these are big decisions!
