Board Members:

We have had a busy week with parent teacher conferences! Our teachers are rewarded for these long days with a three day weekend, which they will enjoy today. As for me, I am headed out to Fort Dodge for the state cross country meet. Following that meet, our fall sports seasons will be concluded and our attention will soon turn to basketball and wrestling. All of our student athletes have a lot to be proud of during this fall season! 

Speaking of pride, yesterday I announced our results from the Iowa School Performance profile. Once again, our schools performed very well with the elementary school earning an Exceptional Rating and our high school earning a commendable rating. The elementary school was one of only 19 schools statewide that achieved 'Exceptional' status, and in fact was ranked #2 overall--statewide.
