Happy Veterans Day! Today I want to express my gratitude to both Dave and Brenda for their service! 

It has been both a busy and productive week! Yesterday it felt like I was in meetings from the time I woke up until I got home last night. Chad and I spent some time this week working on modeling and budget projections for the next five years, and this afternoon we'll have an off schedule construction meeting to discuss the test well proposals that came in yesterday afternoon. (This will be item 7.7 in your agenda.)

As we look ahead to our meeting next week, I would once again draw your attention to the high school renovation update (6.2d). I would like to spend about 5-10 minutes discussing the current status of our project. To remind you, it is my intention/goal to schedule about an hour in December (from 5-6) to meet with our finance consultants and architectural team. Hopefully we'll be able to make some decisions that will set us up well as we start the new year with a target to break ground in the late spring/early summer. 

Also at our meeting on Wednesday we'll have Senator Eric Giddens as our guest. I'll encourage you to bring your appetite since the Family and Consumer Science program will be catering dinner for us. Not only will you be able to help the students with their assessment, you'll have an opportunity to meet our FCS teacher, Gabby Terrill. 

If you have the opportunity, the fall play '12 Angry Jurors' is this weekend and I have no doubt it will prove to be an outstanding evening of entertainment. Have a great weekend and I look forward to seeing you soon!
