Board Members:

We're off and running! It has been a very hot start to the school year! Aside from a few minor inconveniences it has been a good start. I am incredibly grateful that we have been able to keep the air conditioning running in the high school. I can't imagine how hot it would have been, even with an early dismissal had we not had air! 

The week began with a heavy day of inservice training on Monday: child abuse reporter training, talented and gifted, employee benefit, and working with Jerry on messaging and telling our story as a public school district. We wrapped up the day with our open house. Tuesday was equally jam packed with CPI training in the morning and staff meetings in the afternoon. 

And finally, school started on Wednesday and we haven't looked back! In my convocation address to the employees last Friday, I spoke to them of the tremendous changes that are occurring all around our district and encouraged them to embrace all the change that we will experience this year, the good and the bad.
