Happy New Year! I hope that you had an enjoyable holiday season and were able to spend some quality time with your family! We are now entering one of the more challenging aspects of the school year as we deal with the potential of weather disruptions, early evenings, and plenty of indoor recess. At the same time though, we tend to see the greatest gains in student learning. Spring break is just around the corner, right?!

We really had a very productive holiday recess in the district. Our construction project hit their targets for interior demolition and we were able to install 3 key heat pumps that were impacting classrooms. The exterior of the new addition continues to move right along, with the masons sheltering this week while they lay block. The new AG room was completed over the break and we had the punch list on Wednesday, making the room ready for occupation for the students on the first day of the second semester. 

In closing, I wanted to remind you that we are transitioning our board packet material from Dropbox to Google Drive this month in effort to make review a bit easier for you. During this month of transition, the board material will be available in both places. Please let me know if you have any trouble accessing the Google folder.
