Friday Board Bulletin 7/5/2019

Board Members:

I hope you all had a very nice 4th of July celebration! The holiday made for an abbreviated week, but we remained very busy nonetheless. Our Phase III work continues, this week the masons spent a lot of the week staging for what is expected to be a very busy week for them next week. Today we also received the remainder of the windows so I suspect they will be starting that as well next week.

One big item we spent quite a bit of time on this week was bus routes for next year. The makeup and configuration of the routes hasn't been properly evaluated in a decade and with the large number of students in Upper Ridges and the addition of a couple other discretionary stops it seemed appropriate to take a look at our routes. I haven't made any determinations yet, but I have a lot to think about now!

Finally, I wanted to offer a quick update on the track project. I had previously shared with you it was scheduled for the final week of June, which was last week. If you have driven by lately you may have been wondering whats going on. Well, the blue rubber has been held up in customs! Apparently that has something to do with the tariffs and the vendor is working to get the material cleared as quickly as possible. By the way, I was told the rubber was shipped from Switzerland.

Have a great weekend and I look forward to seeing you soon!
